Careful and Rigid Quality Control
|
RAW MATERIAL:
Our core and panel veneers are manufactured at modern facilities. Our experienced
personnel visit logging sites to personally select the best available logs.
STORAGE: The selected logs reach our processing plants with utmost care
so as to avoid any damage in transit. On arrival, if not stored properly, the logs become
prone to decay and loss of essential moisture. To prevent any of these potential problems,
the logs are immersed in water ponds as soon as they arrive. The logs are only removed as
and when they are required.
SECTION: Work on the logs began with them being sectioned into predefined
lengths. These lengths provide for optimal handling and processing through the entire
production cycle. |

PEELING: Once
the logs have been sectioned into the proper lengths, they are then mounted on the lathe.
It is here that the veneers are peeled in the desired thickness. The machines are precise
and ensure uniform thickness of the veneer.
CLIPPING: The veneer is then cut into custom sizes in a process known as
clipping. During this process, the defects in the veneer are accounted for and are
accordingly excluded. The clipped veneer has high moisture content, which has to be
reduced for storage and further use.
DRYING: To reduce the high moisture content, the veneers are passed
through a hot air ventilated dryer. The dryer allows variable setting of the speed and
temperature at which the veneer passes through it. We ensure that the veneer is dried at
the precise temperature and for the exact duration required for the optimum drying.
FINISHED PRODUCT: The veneer that has been processed so far has been
engineered with the utmost precision. To ensure that you get the veneer in its pristine
form, we have applied the best techniques for its sorting, grading, packaging and for
storage prior to dispatch. |
