Thanks to a new technology are
we able to achieve with our density of 680 - 720kg/m3 exactly the same strength as other
products with the density of 750-760kg/m3.
The entire handling of Pfleiderer MDF is much easier, will reduce wear and tear on your

CUTTING
Pfleiderer MDF boards provide ideal condition to achieve top processing quality with every
sawing equipment. Due to the material density we do recommend hard-metal blades. Best
results are obtained with handling speeds between 40 - 80 m/s
|

|
|
DRILLING
Any common drilling tool can be used (same equipment as needed for Plywood or Chipboards.
|
|
|
|
SCREWING
Easy and fast. It is recommended to pre-drill for best results.
|
|
|
|
PLUGGING
Standard rough plugs are recommended. The drilling hole should be +0.2mm to assure best
distribution of glue.

|
|
|
MOULDING
Pfleiderer MDF products are very suitable and high moulding quality is obtained. The
material will guarantee best milling abilities, usually only possible with high quality
hardwood.

|
|
|
COATING, LAMINATING,
VENEER
The very smooth surface of Pfleiderer MDF allows you to utilize this product as ideal
carrier for any laminate.
|
|
|
|
GLUING
All common and standard wood-glues are possible. We recommend glue without any
Formaldehyde content. Example: white glue PVAc or PU (D1 to D4). Pfleiderer MDF will save
you money,... 80 - 120g/m2 is sufficient.

|
|
PAINTING
Pfleiderer MDF boards are ideal for efficient paint jobs and surface treatment of any
kind. Simply follow the manufacturers instructions.

|
|
|
SANDING
Pfleiderer MDF boards are ready to be used without additional sanding. Only for high-gloss
paint sanding is recommended to obtain best paint durability.
